Use this workflow to connect Shopify products to shared component inventory.
Recommended setup steps
- Install StockPool from the Shopify App Store and approve the Shopify billing plan.
- Create components for the inventory pools you want to track, such as blanks, ingredients, parts, or materials.
- Set each component quantity and low-stock threshold.
- Open Product recipes and connect each managed Shopify variant to the components it consumes.
- Review calculated availability, then enable inventory sync for products StockPool should manage.
- Check the sync log after setup, orders, refunds, cancellations, and manual adjustments.
Before using live inventory
Test recipes on a small set of products first, verify component quantities, and confirm Shopify inventory matches your expectations before relying on the sync for fulfillment decisions.
