StockPool setup guide.

Use this workflow to connect Shopify products to shared component inventory.

Recommended setup steps

  1. Install StockPool from the Shopify App Store and approve the Shopify billing plan.
  2. Create components for the inventory pools you want to track, such as blanks, ingredients, parts, or materials.
  3. Set each component quantity and low-stock threshold.
  4. Open Product recipes and connect each managed Shopify variant to the components it consumes.
  5. Review calculated availability, then enable inventory sync for products StockPool should manage.
  6. Check the sync log after setup, orders, refunds, cancellations, and manual adjustments.

Before using live inventory

Test recipes on a small set of products first, verify component quantities, and confirm Shopify inventory matches your expectations before relying on the sync for fulfillment decisions.
